Cooking in the Classroom: YUMMY!

On Tuesday the 24th of October, the Learning Leopards did some cooking in class.

We made some Chipattis to celebrate Diwali

We had to use our measurement and reading skills to follow the recipe.
(Adapting it to suit how many children are in our class)

We had to use an electric frying pan to cook our Chapattis.
First, we had to mix the ingredients to make the dough.

Next, we had to roll our Chapattis into circles and flatten them out. Then we added them into the frying pan to cook. We had to be careful to turn them over once they started to bubble and go golden brown.

Lastly, we got to enjoy eating our creations. YUMMY!

Maybe we could show you how to make Chapattis at home for your family too.
